Langdale Pikes, The Lake District

I seem to be saying this rather a lot, but this really is my favourite joiner, honestly..

Looking at the joiner you could be forgiven for thinking this was the Alps, or maybe even the Rockies, but nope, it’s the little old Lake District.
This joiner was shot on top of Little Langdale, which while smaller than the Langdale pikes, is still quite a climb, especially with a camera bag full of kit strapped to your back. But I think it was absolutely worth it, what with the snow capped mountains and the deep blue sky…it’s just perfect..even if I don’t mind saying so myself :)

To truly appreciate this joiner you really need to listen to the the inspiration track below…it completes this joiner in a way no other song could..
Think I’m nuts?
Try it, just once, and then email me and apologise for doubting.. :)
