This is one of my favourite joiners. I was photographing this jet as part of a corporate assignment and had a litte time at the end of the job so I had the idea to quickly photograph the plane as a joiner. In my opinion this photo looks a million times better than all the other shots I’d taken of the plane during the day.
My only gripe about this shot is the engine covers were left on, it could have looked better had they been taken off, but then again it does give a little colour to the piece, and I really don’t like to tweak the environment when I’m shooting, I like to record the scene as is, photo journalist style.
I can’t quite put my finger on why I like this shot so much, it could be the exposure of each individual photo are so different and really give it that ‘joining’ effect’, or it could be the individual photos all line up really well, or it could just be that I’m a bit of an anorak and just love stuff like this.. :)
To view this joiner at it’s best, do the following

– Hit the play button on the audio player below
– Sit back and enjoy the joiner as it was meant to be enjoyed!
